Dow's 50-point drop led by losses for shares of Salesforce Inc., McDonald's

Shares of Salesforce Inc. and McDonald’s are trading lower Monday afternoon, dragging the Dow Jones Industrial Average into negative territory. Shares of Salesforce Inc. CRM, -2.84% and McDonald’s MCD, -1.42% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, +0.28% was most recently trading 50 points lower (-0.2%). Salesforce Inc.’s shares are off $7.01, or 3.8%, while those of McDonald’s have fallen $4.91 (1.9%), combining for an approximately 79-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Boeing BA, -0.96%, Microsoft MSFT, -0.59%, and Apple Inc. AAPL, -0.74%. A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components equates to a 6.59-point swing.
