Dow's 168-point jump led by gains in shares of Goldman Sachs, Dow Inc.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is trading up Monday morning with shares of Goldman Sachs and Dow Inc. seeing positive gains for the blue-chip average. The Dow DJIA, +0.55% was most recently trading 168 points, or 0.5%, higher, as shares of Goldman Sachs GS, +3.04% and Dow Inc. DOW, +2.63% are contributing about 25% of the index’s intraday rally. Goldman Sachs’s shares have gained $9.71, or 3.3%, while those of Dow Inc. have climbed $1.32, or 2.7%, combining for a roughly 73-point bump for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Boeing BA, +2.46%, Chevron CVX, +2.14%, and Salesforce Inc. CRM, +2.49%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index equates to a 6.59-point swing.
