JPMorgan Chase, Travelers share losses contribute to Dow's 339-point fall

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is seeing a selloff Thursday afternoon with shares of JPMorgan Chase and Travelers facing the biggest drops for the price-weighted average. Shares of JPMorgan Chase JPM, -4.19% and Travelers TRV, -4.59% are contributing to the index’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, -1.10% was most recently trading 339 points lower (-1.1%). JPMorgan Chase’s shares are down $4.48 (4.0%) while those of Travelers are off $6.24 (3.8%), combining for an approximately 71-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are Goldman Sachs GS, -3.32%, Caterpillar CAT, -2.97%, and Chevron CVX, -2.69%. A $1 move in any of the index’s 30 components results in a 6.59-point swing.
