Dow down nearly 150 points on losses in shares of Boeing, Walt Disney

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is declining Thursday morning with shares of Boeing and Walt Disney facing the biggest declines for the price-weighted average. Shares of Boeing BA, -1.86% and Walt Disney DIS, -1.20% are contributing to the index’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, -0.40% was most recently trading 143 points lower (-0.4%). Boeing’s shares have declined $2.69 (1.9%) while those of Walt Disney are down $1.65 (1.5%), combining for an approximately 29-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are Dow Inc. DOW, -1.16%, Goldman Sachs GS, -1.67%, and Caterpillar CAT, -1.78%. A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components results in a 6.59-point swing.
