Boeing, Walt Disney share losses lead Dow's 135-point drop

Behind negative returns for shares of Boeing and Walt Disney, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is falling Thursday afternoon. Shares of Boeing BA, -3.06% and Walt Disney DIS, -2.66% are contributing to the index’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, -0.65% was most recently trading 135 points lower (-0.4%). Boeing’s shares are down $3.56 (2.6%) while those of Walt Disney have dropped $2.49 (2.3%), combining for an approximately 40-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Visa V, -1.98%, Goldman Sachs GS, -1.98%, and Nike NKE, -1.84%. A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components equates to a 6.59-point swing.
