Travel Blue is anticipating a faster-than-expected recovery for the travel retail sector and the company is investing heavily to make sure it is ready to seize the opportunity.
Along with adding several new brands to its portfolio, Travel Blue has also launched two new ranges of its own – the Hygiene Range and Anomeo. Both of these will be on show at the TFWA World Exhibition later this month and Travel Blue is demonstrating its investment in the travel retail sector with a new, bigger space at the exhibition.
Travel Blue Executive Director Jonathan Smith said: “We are confident that travel retail will be back to almost 2019 sales, sooner than I think we had all anticipated a few months ago. We therefore decided to invest heavily in a new location with a very large exhibition stand. At long last, we will be meeting face to face our current and new customers.”
He continued: “We have been very busy during the last 18 months, whist clearly this period has been very difficult business wise, we used this period to invest large amounts by buying and investing in several companies that are relevant to travel retail.”
The company’s two own new ranges, both of which tap into the current demand for health and wellness products, will be on show at the event alongside the Travel Blue travel accessories collection and the Lexingham mobile phone accessories brand.
“Learning to live with Covid has forced us to make strategic decisions we wouldn’t normally make, but we are now a much stronger and resilient company, with many new distribution channels,” Smith added. “We are looking forward to a very successful future for our business in the travel retail sector.”
Travel Blue will be located at Stand F33 in the Yellow Village at the TFWA World Exhibition.
