Examiners at the Securities and Exchange Commission are looking closely at advisory firms that advertise investment strategies focused on environmental, social, and corporate-governance commitments, a commission official warned this week.

Elsewhere, SEC examiners are going to continue to scrutinize the policies brokers have set up around Regulation Best Interest, as compliance on that front will become a part of brokers’ routine exams, another official said.
