VZ, -1.60% and JPMorgan Chase JPM, -0.37% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, +0.07% was most recently trading 91 points (0.3%) lower. Verizon Communications Inc.’s shares have declined $0.49 (0.9%) while those of JPMorgan Chase have dropped $1.38 (0.8%), combining for an approximately 12-point drag on the Dow. IBM IBM, -0.79%, Johnson & Johnson JNJ, -0.95%, and Goldman Sachs GS, +0.28% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components results in a 6.58-point swing.
