Dow's 39-point jump highlighted by gains for shares of Inc., Nike

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is climbing Tuesday morning with shares of Inc. and Nike leading the way for the index. The Dow DJIA, -0.01% is trading 39 points higher (0.1%), as shares of Inc. CRM, +1.73% and Nike NKE, +0.78% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally. Inc.’s shares are up $4.35, or 1.6%, while those of Nike have climbed $1.95 (1.3%), combining for an approximately 41-point bump for the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the gain include Home Depot HD, +0.61%, American Express AXP, +1.18%, and Boeing BA, -0.05%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index results in a 6.58-point swing.
