Dow's 210-point jump highlighted by gains in Apple Inc., Walt Disney stocks

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is climbing Monday morning with shares of Apple Inc. and Walt Disney delivering strong returns for the blue-chip average. The Dow DJIA, +0.69% was most recently trading 210 points, or 0.7%, higher, as shares of Apple Inc. AAPL, +3.16% and Walt Disney DIS, +3.25% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally. Apple Inc.’s shares are up $4.29 (3.3%) while those of Walt Disney are up $4.72, or 2.7%, combining for an approximately 59-point boost for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Goldman Sachs GS, +1.78%, Visa V, +1.50%, and American Express AXP, +1.14%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index equates to a 6.58-point swing.
