Dow's 131-point drop led by losses for Apple Inc., Goldman Sachs stocks

Shares of Apple Inc. and Goldman Sachs are trading lower Friday morning, dragging the Dow Jones Industrial Average into negative territory. The Dow DJIA, -0.22% was most recently trading 131 points lower (-0.4%), as shares of Apple Inc. AAPL, -1.28% and Goldman Sachs GS, -2.16% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. Apple Inc.’s shares are off $2.11 (1.7%) while those of Goldman Sachs are off $4.13 (1.7%), combining for a roughly 41-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are American Express AXP, -1.90%, Intel INTC, -1.47%, and JPMorgan Chase JPM, -1.20%. A $1 move in any of the index’s 30 components results in a 6.58-point swing.
