Walt Disney, Goldman Sachs share gains contribute to Dow's 115-point climb

Shares of Walt Disney and Goldman Sachs are posting strong returns Wednesday morning, lifting the Dow Jones Industrial Average into positive territory. The Dow DJIA, -0.35% was most recently trading 115 points, or 0.4%, higher, as shares of Walt Disney DIS, +0.46% and Goldman Sachs GS, +1.67% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally. Walt Disney’s shares have risen $3.63, or 2.4%, while those of Goldman Sachs are up $5.04 (2.1%), combining for an approximately 57-point bump for the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the gain include Dow Inc. DOW, +0.20%, IBM IBM, +0.86%, and Home Depot HD, +1.47%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow results in a 6.58-point swing.
